I was feeling hopeless and disgruntled about the people around me. I was also an angry person. I was always very moody, so my emotions were up and down. I had many doubts about God. I was even certain that there was not a God and became an atheist. I lost my father when I was very young and was raised in an orphanage, so I felt alone in the world. I was enslaved by drugs and other things. These things chained me to addiction.

My circumstances brought me to Cairo for work.  A miracle happened while I was trying to catch the train to Cairo.  I was on the tracks trying to catch the train when another train from the other direction was headed towards me. I didn’t see it coming, but suddenly I felt a strong hand push me away from the oncoming train. I was saved with a strange, powerful, and marvelous hand. That night, I started crying and praying which was unlike my atheist self. That is when I decided to live for the Lord. My life changed completely: from sadness to happiness and joy. I started to serve the Lord and now I’m serving the One who saved my life from death.
